Won a State ...My only daughter graduated last year. Won a State basketball championship that year, played fall volleyball and spring softball and all the other things so important to senior girls. It was a wild ride year and I loved it and hated it. I am also the parent that makes every effort to be at all the events and with a senior girl and boys, too, you are spread pretty thin. It has been an adjustment this year not to go to all of her athletic events...and her scrapbook for graduation was finished right before the party. Delaying it did NOT slow down the process, I'm sorry to report. She's in college and doing well, but as crazy as those ballgame years (here boys play 2 night, girls play 2 night and we had both!) have been, I miss seeing her in uniform. Enjoy your weeks...Karen Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18189370281390432351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8747380616247977047.post-53630409573247993582011-04-20T22:02:22.274-05:002011-04-20T22:02:22.274-05:00Thanks for saying (in such a kind way!) the way I&...Thanks for saying (in such a kind way!) the way I've been feeling lately! HA! Sometimes I don't say it so kindly! My husband is a high school head track coach and so I high-five/Amen you on being gone a couple of nights a week! Sometimes I look at the calendar on Sunday and wonder how I'm going to physically and mentally get through the week! I don't mean to complain either because I, too, love all the activities my kiddos do. But boy, there are times I'm truly worn out! It's comforting to know there are others out there that feel the same.
I've had 3 babies graduate high school (1 still in) and every one of them hurt and I was extremely sad. No I didn't enjoy it like I should...I'm way too emotional and sentimental. I wish they were all 4 my little toddlers again!
Thinking of you and hope you know you got a blog friend who understands!
TanyaTanyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01618178910722598005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8747380616247977047.post-68596673862646612512011-04-19T13:12:46.129-05:002011-04-19T13:12:46.129-05:00Sunburn?
