Death Was Arrested

We sang this song at church Sunday morning.  The words describe what Jesus did for me, and for you, on that cross.  His resurrection arrested death.  He is victorious!!!!

Please take a few minutes and listen to this:

"When death was arrested and my life began!!!!"

I'm so thankful for His amazing love.

Ephesians

If we could just really grasp how much He loves us, how different our lives would be.

If we could just grasp who we are in Him, how different our lives would be.

If we could just grasp that every promise in the Bible is real, how different our lives would be.

All to Jesus I surrender, all to Him I freely give.

Prayers Needed Today

I am asking you all to pray for some really nice folks.

If you follow Down On The Farm, then you probably follow Nana Diana over at "Nana Diana Takes a Break" (to check out her blog go HERE).

Nana Diana's husband, John, has cancer.  You can read all about it on her blog.

I am sharing this with you so that, just in case you don't follow sweet Diana, you can pray for them.

Cancer is mean and ugly and no respecter of persons.

But our God is bigger than cancer.  He is bigger than fear.  He is bigger than anything.

These two wonderful people need a touch from the Master's hand today.

So if you would, please lift them in prayer.  I thank you . . . and I know they thank you too.

Waking Up to This

If you don't live on a farm you've probably never ever woke up to this.

If you look closely you can see that this cow is on the WRONG side of the fence.

The cow is in my yard.

Those cows in the background?  They are where they're supposed to be.  In the field.  This girl is on the wrong side of the tracks . . . er, fence.

I think my husband needs to work on the cattle guard!

To Stack or Not to Stack . . . That Is The Question

My washer and dryer are front loaders.  I've had them for over 9 years.  They sit in a very UNATTRACTIVE laundry room which actually isn't a separate room at all. . . meaning there is no door that I can close off.  When you come in my back door, there are the washer and dryer for all to see.  I actually keep the dirty clothes hampers (yes, I said hampers. Yes, I have two.  One for regular dirty clothes, and one for dirty farm clothes.  All dirty farm clothes get washed separately.) in the bathroom which is next to the laundry room.

I'm going to remodel my laundry room and I've considered stacking my washer and dryer to give me more room.  That room is not large, and it's awkward since that room also has two small closets, a stair case going down to the basement, and the doorway to our kitchen, hallway and bathroom.

I'd love to have your opinion on "stacking" vs "not stacking" the washer and dryer.  Are your washer and dryer stacked?  Do you love it or hate it?  And why??

Thanks so much for your opinions!!!
