Here in Missouri, we have had the worst winter I can remember in years. Decades. We have had bitterly cold temperatures. We have had snow and I mean TONS of snow (remember our February 1st blizzard?)
I, for one, was HOPING that we had the worst of winter behind us. I mean, I know that it's not really spring yet. But surely we've suffered enough????
I guess old man winter disagreed with me -- take a look at this!!!
This was Monday afternoon here at Down On The Farm. We probably have 5 inches of snow. A heavy, wet snow. It is melting like crazy today, which is fine with me and just about everybody else.
Spring. I love you. I need you to show up DESPERATELY! And please, NO MORE SNOW!!!!!
I am so sorry about your snow!! Don't be mad at me.. lol.. but we had 0" inches of snow this time. I'm really surprised, because we've been dumped upon every time too. The rest of this week is supposed to be super nice... at least the last I heard! Happy Spring... it's on the way for real! -Tammy
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you are very tired of it but it is absolutely beautiful to me. Thanks for sharing the pics. You are living what I wish I could just experience, cold winters with snow and the farming life! Glad I found your blog. Lucretia
ReplyDeleteI'm sending sunny thoughts your way! I hope it warms up soon, that does look like a lot of white stuff!
ReplyDeleteHang on Girl friend, The Farmaer's Almanac says we will still get one more Doozie!!
ReplyDeleteAmen Sister! I'm ready for spring too! I hear one more big snow but let's pray it's wrong and that was winters last harrah!
ReplyDeleteHang in there, spring is on the way! We all are just so tired of snow and cold, but we'll be talking about the heat and humidity before you know it. Just thought I'd mention that to cheer everyone up...:D
