Seniors

I have two seniors.  I am the mother of a senior in high school, and a senior in college.

I don't know where the time went.  But I sure want it back.

I want them to be little again.  I want to be the center of their universe again.

If only we could go back . . . but that's impossible.

Here is a picture of my daughter at a breakfast with some of her friends for her last first day of high school on August 15th.  She left the breakfast, drove to the high school, and walked in the doors as a senior.  That is the same high school that I attended.  I should still be a senior.

Then, on Monday, August 26th, Cole got in his car, drove to college and walked in the doors as a senior.  He will graduate in May of 2014 with a Bachelor's of Science in Agri Business.  He will be 21 years old and will have graduated from college in three years.  (Dual credit classes are da bomb!)

And here's a blast from the past.  This picture was taken 3 years ago, August of 2010.  Alex's first day as a freshman in high school, and Cole's first day as a senior in high school.  I remember that day so vividly.

And I can't believe that three years has gone by already.

I pray every day that my children will be protected from all harm, from all evil.  I pray every day for God's will to be done in their lives. And I thank God that out of all the women in the world He selected me to be their mother.  I am blessed beyond words.
