Because It's Tuesday

Thank you, thank you for praying for me.  I think the Meet the Candidates evening went very well, and my husband and kids agreed.  All of the comments were very positive.  The election is two weeks from today, on April 6th.  I continue to pray for God's will in this election, and in every aspect of my life.

It is a beautiful day here.  The sun is shining and we are headed to the upper 60s for the high.  I can't wait to get outside and pick up around the yard and the shed behind our house and sweep out the garage and the porch.   But today, it is still too MUDDY!  I am on the lookout for a really pretty springtime flag.  I haven't had a flag hanging outside since Christmas and it is TIME!  I love driving home from work every night and seeing a pretty flag hanging there.

Continue to pray for our nation and for our leaders!

  1. We still have standing water here!

    Yes, pray for our country!

  2. Prayers for you and your part of the school.

I am enjoying the beautiful spring weather of south Texas. I am taking advantage and getting started on growing my veggies and herbs. They are doing well except for the cucumbers that I lost in a cold snap.

Some times in Ohio I didn't get planted until almost July. The garden we planted the 4th of July weekend did the best we ever had!!!

    Have a blessed day.

  3. I am praying for the election. We need Godly women like you on our school boards~indeed!
Thank you for your encouraging words today!

  4. That's so good to hear about your meeting. We are finally getting Florida weather this weekend, (in Florida.) :)

  5. I love finding a good blog by a Godly woman, and this one fits the bill. I'll be praying for the upcoming election for you. I admire the fact that you want to serve your community this way. Good for you!

  6. Glad things went well. As I said, I know the importance of great board members. I have been involved in education for many, many years!!

  7. Praying that you are elected. That would be awesome to have a Christian on any school board. WE need prayer back in our schools!

  8. Amen! We do need to pray for our government leaders. And for the nation! Thank you for visiting me and encouraging me. God bless you and may you remain strong in the Lord's mighty power.

  9. Grass roots is a good way to get things done!

  10. Good Luck on the upcoming election! I, too, admire you for serving your school and community in this way.
