Saturday was the 26th annual Eldon Turkey Festival. What a gorgeous day for bands and old cars and festival food. YUM! This is my brother-in-law . . . his classic car won FIRST PLACE. He looks pretty proud, don't you think???
This is my sweet niece and nephew. Aren't they cute???And this is the Eldon Marching Mustangs! They are fantastic. I was a Marching Mustang back in the day. Many moons ago.
We finished Saturday off sitting outside around our new firepit and making s'mores! In case you can't tell from these pictures, we are LOVING our firepit!!! What a beautiful evening!
What a blessed woman I am! God has been so, so good to me. I have a wonderful family. Thank you Lord!

I really enjoyed last week, celebrating Down On The Farm's two-year blogaversary! Thanks to all who commented/entered. My prayer is that God would bless each and every one of you, and meet your every need. That He would strengthen you and encourage you for the work He has for you. Enjoy this beautiful day my friends!
45 degrees. Not ready for it to be that cool, but am so ready for cooler weather. It's still in the 90's here as the high, but thankfully it's been raining since Saturday afternoon. It had been over a month of no rain.
ReplyDeleteWay to cold for me! And that's where we were sitting this morning too! :). I was sitting here trying to think if Eldon participates in the Maple Leaf Festival here in Carthage....
ReplyDeleteI am totally with you, thank goodness for Fall. Although I did have to go shopping Monday for blue jeans as our little guy has grown out of all of his. Looks like you all had a fabulous weekend.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Hello, my friend! Just popping over to say thank you for your sweet and encouraging comment today. Your prayers mean so much.
ReplyDeleteOh it looks like great fun.
ReplyDeleteI too am ready for the weather to stay cool.
Thank you for that lovely prayer, and I would pray the same for you! You have a wonderful, beautiful family. I enjoyed the peek at the Turkey Festival, and I'd sure like to just wiggle my nose and have a firepit like yours just show up in my backyard :D
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the Winner!! -Tammy
