Decisions Decisions

This evening 50 of the finest minds in medicine will meet at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas.  They will be discussing, among other patients, my beautiful mother.

They will make a decision as to what the next "step" is going to be in her treatment plan.

There is an option for surgery to actually cut out the tumors from her liver.  The surgery is "big" as is the recovery.

There is an option to do ablation.  Which is a fancy word for zapping and burning the tumors.  It is an outpatient procedure with very little recovery time.

There is an option for more chemotherapy.

I am reminded of II Chronicles 20:12.

"For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You."

We don't know what to do.  This trial we are going through is unfamiliar territory.
I would ask that you agree with us, asking God to guide the minds of those 50 physicians tonight as they discuss my mom.  We want God's will, whatever that is.
We are choosing to trust Him.  Whatever their recommendation, that is what we will do, so we need God to guide them in their decision making.

They will meet tonight, and they will call Wednesday morning with their recommendation.

Please join with us in prayer.  We continue to ask for healing in Jesus name.

Thank you!!!

  3. Take the advice of the consensus of ALL the doctors rather than a rouge doctor that "thinks he can"...that would be my advice. Praying for your mom, the doctors and YOU!!! Hang in there and let us know what the outcome is....so hard to know what is the right thing to do. xo Diana

  5. Praying for your mom, and her loved ones to be strengthened with strength in your souls.
Psalms 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving kindness and for thy truth: for thou has magnified thy word above all thy name. Reading this made me stop and consider how powerful the word is when we see that it is magnified ABOVE ALL His Name. Awesome fact about the power of the word of God. No wonder He watches over His word to preform it.
So I pray the word of God to be in your mouth and that you see it work as you have never seen it work before this. God fill your mind and heart with over-flowing love and His comfort. He goes before you. God bless.

  6. Where two or three are gathered, He is in the midst of us. May you all always be filled with increased faith, love, joy, hope and no matter the distance, it's awesome that we can all pray together. God bless you sister and may you remain joyful because with faith, you can tell "the mountain" to go under the sea.
