$4.05 A Gallon And I Don't Mean Gas!!!!!

Yesterday, I went to the grocery store and bought this:

When I got to the checkout, I saw this:

$4.05.
Can somebody please tell me when the price of milk jumped so high?  I mean, I know the price of EVERYTHING seems to be skyrocketing these days.  But come on?  $4.05 for a gallon of milk????

  1. I buy our milk from the Mobil gas station...it is normally 50 - 60 cents cheaper than the local grocery store. I normally buy milk every couple of days....my family is a breakfast, lunch and dinner milk drinking family. (Except for me...yucky! I'll drink my water, thank you) But the last gallon of 2% milk I bought was $3.49. Have to buy some more today after work so we will see if it is that same price. Just a thought...you might try a gas station to get your milk, if it isn't going out of your way to get it. Have a great day! I really enjoy your blog!

  4. I pay more than that for 1/2 gallon of skim milk here in Canada.
Over 2.49 for dozen eggs, and 3.49 for butter. And that's at Wal-Mart!
I've noticed a huge jump in prices here too!
This is my 1st visit, I'll be back to visit again.
